E2EVC Virtualization Conference Events is a series of worldwide non-commercial, virtualization community Events.
Our main goal is to bring the best virtualization experts together to exchange knowledge and to establish new connections. E2EVC is a weekend crammed with presentations, Master Classes and discussions delivered by both virtualization vendors product teams and independent experts.
Started in August, 2003 with just 4 people and after 42 very successful events grown to a well-recognized event with about 200 attendees. In the last 15 years and 41 events, our conference has taken place in cities such as Athens, Munich, London, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Cape Town, Frankfurt, Dublin, Orlando, Paris, Prague, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Munich, New York, Nice, Lisbon, Rome, Hamburg, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo and Vienna. On average we have 30 sessions at each event. Topics are - server, application, desktop, storage virtualization with products from vendors like Microsoft, VMware, Citrix and many more. Over 50 of the best virtualization community experts present their topics. Many current virtualization community leaders participated in the past or still participate in our events. It's the people that attend, presenters that present and our sponsors who make this event possible.

E2EVC 2019 Lisbon will take place from 8 to 10 of November (Main Conference). On November 7 we will have extra, paid, Custom Master Classes - the exact topics will be published in 2 weeks time. Price of those Master Classes - 149EUR, for a full day 9:00 - 18:00 Master Class with catering.

Alex Cooper, Alex is the founder of E2EVC. He is responsible for the organization and execution of E2EVC/PubForum events since 2003. All of the heavy lifting and work is actauly done by his 6 head event team, he just takes the credit for it. Alex is the "editor" of this modern, beautiful, non-SSL website (with Notepad, for the past 16 years). He is very passionate about bringing together the brightest minds of worldwide <virtualization> community, for a pint of good beer. He quite often attends his own event in a desperate effort to learn something, which is quite hard, as he is also responsible for serving beers, sharing latest community gossip and drama, plus fighting evil marketing BS . He spends all of his free time writing drama and horror pieces about his life with XenServer PTSD.

VMware EUC - State of the Union

Shawn Bass, Shawn is a recognized expert in the End User Computing industry. With more than 20 years of consulting experience, he has worked with all facets of End User Computing (Terminal Services, Virtual Desktops, Application Virtualization and Enterprise Mobility Management) since the very beginning of these technologies. Shawn joined VMware in September 2014 to help lead and define a long-term strategy for VMware’s End User Computing products and works closely with the product team in implementing the strategy in the years to come. He is currently serving as CTO of End-User Computing.

Sebastian Brand
Sebastian Brand, Sebastian is Lead Systems Engineer, End-User Computing VMware. Sebastian started his career in 2000 at the first German Citrix Partner as a Citrix and Security Consultant when Citrix was a one product company with a product called WinFrame. During his years as a consultant he did a lot of VDI and RDSH deployments as well as a lot go Firewall and Content Scanning projects. Sebastian has a number of accreditations including CCIA and MCSE. Sebastian joined VMware in 2014 and is currently Lead Systems Engineer End-User Computing for the VMware CEMEA Global accounts. Wishing this technical pre-sales role Sebastian is responsible for some of the largest Mobile and Desktop projects. Since 2017 Sebastian is also member of the CTO Ambassador Program at VMware. In his free time he played tennis, watches football and he loves long and intensive discussions with valuable results.

Arnaud Pain, Arnaud is an IT Architect, CEO & Founder of MTRC CONSULTING LLC a consulting company that specialises in consulting around virtualization technologies based in Tampa. Extending Cloud Automation to End Users. So many things we do as IT Admins are scripted processing, this session is going to cover the concept of utilizing Azure Automation to extend some of those processes to end users, taking the Automation process to the next level.

Saša Masic, Saša had his first contact with server virtualisation during his studies at Technical University Hamburg, Germany in late 90´s. He then spent many years working with leading server / desktop virtualisation and terminal server solutions. Currently he is working as a Senior Architect for data center infrastructure at Dataport in Hamburg, Germany. His interests beyond IT are his family, basketball coaching and alternative music.
